Call for Projects: FHPAP Subgrantees!
Request for Letters of Intent to Apply
The Northeast Minnesota Continuum of Care (NE CoC) is requesting Letters of Intent to Apply for Family Homeless Prevention & Assistance Program (FHPAP) projects to serve individuals and families in Cook, Lake, Itasca, and/or Koochiching Counties. If accepted, providers would be subgrantees of KOOTASCA Community Action, the primary FHPAP grantee for the four counties listed above. JOIN THE CoC NEW PERSPECTIVE COMMITTEE!
The NE CoC is seeking people who have experienced homelessness in our region (Aitkin, Carlton, Cook, Itasca, Koochiching, and Lake Counties - including Bois Forte, Fond du Lac, Grand Portage, and Leech Lake Indian Reservations) to lead us in our work. We are starting the "New Perspective Committee" made up of members who have experienced homelessness or struggled with housing stability. The mission of this group is to develop perspective driven ideas to create and implement a fresh new outlook to serve our community in need.
There are stipends available to compensate committee members for your time.

Interested in Participating in the NE CoC?
The NE MN CoC meets from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm on the second Thursday of every odd month. All meetings have a virtual option to join. Meetings during summer months in 2023 will be hybrid (in person & Zoom). All meetings are open to the public and new members are welcome and encouraged to join.
