NE CoC Committees

Committee Meeting Information

CoC Committees carry out the work of the CoC to prevent and end homelessness in our region. Our committees are open to everyone who is interested - You do not need to be an "official CoC member" or work for an organization to participate. There is no long-term commitment to join a committee. We want you to be involved when and how you can! The NE CoC currently has stipends available for people in our region who have experienced homelessness to participate in our committees and in CoC meetings.

If you are interested in learning more or in joining one of our committees, please complete the form below or email Cara Oakland, NE CoC Co-Coordinator.
Coordinated Entry Committee - Supports Coordinated Entry planning and operations for the NE CoC.

Meets 11am - 12pm on the first Tuesday of every month via Zoom.

Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee - Supports the efforts of the NE CoC to promote diversity, equity and inclusion in housing and service agencies in our region. Key tasks include collecting data related to addressing disparities in the homeless response system, identifying training solutions, and sharing resources to help organizations make their services and environment more equitable and inclusive.

Meets from 2pm - 3:30pm on the second Tuesday of every month via Zoom.

Governance Committee - consists of elected officers and other CoC Governing Board Members. This committee oversees the Governance and structure of the CoC on behalf of the CoC Governing Board.  All Governance Committee members must be CoC Governing Board members.

New Perspective Work Group - Consists of persons with lived experience of homelessness in the NE CoC region who guide CoC actions and decision making to prevent and end homelessness.

Open community meetings will be held in 2023 to learn from community members, including people with lived experience of homelessness, to develop perspective driven ideas to create and implement a fresh outlook to serve our community in need.
